You can use the Project Dashboard to send us direct messages with work requests included in your package – or to request additional hours or project work you might need.
You can upload files for us to view and also download any files we upload for you to review.
All your monthly maintenance work and any additional work will be stored within your Project Dashboard for easy progress tracking.
WordPress software updates
WordPress and plug in updates come almost daily at the moment.
Keeping your website software up-to-date is important but it also essential to make sure you have a full backup of your site before doing any upgrades.
Larger sites with lots of plug ins need updates doing in small stages so that the server can cope with the process.
Conflicts between plug ins can occur during upgrades and may need to be restored to an older version or the conflict resolved.
All of these issues are covered for you on a monthly basis without the need to worry at all.
Manual/Automatic and Cloud/Physical Backups
We take our backup procedure seriously.
Database backups are performed weekly – daily if you have an active WooCommerce site.
Full file backups are performed weekly and also performed by hand once a month.
We create many copies of your site – stored both on cloud servers and on physical hard drives.
We also check all backups to ensure the process has been completed successfully without any loss of data.
We store a full month’s worth of backups for you.
Should your site need to be restored we will do this free of charge on request.
Have you ever experienced having your website hacked?
It’s not a pleasant experience and can feel like a personal attack.
Hacks are usually generated by robots so not personal at all and even top level companies have suffered from security breaches.
Our service runs not only constant automatic hacking alerts but we visit your site weekly and run manual malware scans.
If any file changes or breaches are found we will delete the whole site and restore back to the last clean version on our backup system.
We will create a new database and update all log in details.
Ever thought your website was having more downtime than up?
Have you approached your web host only to be told that uptime has been 100% so it must be you that has the issue?
With our service you will receive a full Uptime report each month detailing any issues your server might have had which you can present to your hosting company.
